Pernod Ricard at March 2012 launched
the newest Malibu version called Malibu Red.
Its a mix of Malibu and Olmeca Blanco
tequila.
Product does not contain artificial
flavorings or colour like many others flavoured spirits. The real
coconut extract and Barbados light rum combine very well with silver
tequila.
The coconut flavour not dominate like
in Malibu or Malibu Black (35% Abv) , but support stweetness of agave
and spicy of black pepper from the tequila.
This product may change fame of Malibu
as female spirits, and make it a great ingredient of more masculine
cocktails.
