GRANDE ABSENTHE ABSINTHE ORIGINALE

In the late 19th century during the Belle Époque era in Paris, the renowned Absinthe culture was at its height of infamy. Absinthe was the trademark drink of artists like Degas, Manet, Picasso, Van Gogh, Toulouse-Lautrec and Oscar Wilde. To recall this glorious time, Grande Absente, Absinthe Originale is one of the oldest traditional Absinthe recipes from the south of France. Hand crafted in Provence like it was from 1860-1912, Grande Absente is made exclusively with the highest quality spirits and select botanicals, including the legendary botanical Wormwood, also known as artemisia absinthium.
What sets Grande Absenthe apart is the combination of French artisanal distillation techniques and high quality mix of regional botanicals which results in a great tasting Absinthe, a suprisingly refreshing drink that's out of this world.

BROKER'S LONDON DRY GIN

The distillery where Broker’s Gin is made is located near Birmingham, England and is over 200 years old. There had previously been a brewery on the site, but this was converted to a distillery at a time when gin-making became more profitable than beer-making.
The distillery uses only traditional pot stills. Continuous distillation using column stills is more efficient and is used by the major brands, but pot stills are better for extracting maximum flavour from the botanicals in a traditional hand-crafted fashion.
The distillery has a mini-still, which is used for making small batches of gin from different recipes. The recipe for Broker’s Gin is 200 years old and was chosen after taste-testing against several newer recipes. Often the old ones are the best ones.
The copper pot still used for producing Broker’s Gin is named “Constance” and was manufactured by John Dore & Co, long recognised as the finest still-maker in the world.
The base spirit for Broker’s Gin is quadruple-distilled pure grain spirit made from English wheat. The flavour is provided by ten natural botanicals, the primary one of which is juniper berries – as in all gins. The botanicals are steeped – soaked – in the base spirit in the still for 24 hours. This is the first part of the flavour-infusion process. The still is then fired up for the final, fifth distillation, which completes the process.
Dried botanicals are sourced from all over the world and shipped to the distillery in sacks.
The botanicals used in Broker’s Gin and their sources are:
Juniper berries – Macedonia, Coriander seed – Bulgaria, Orris root – ItalyNutmeg – India, Cassia bark – Indonesia, Cinnamon – Seychelles, Liquorice – Italy, Orange peel – Spain, Lemon peel – Spain, Angelica root – Poland
The botanicals are added to the still in carefully measured quantities according to the recipe. Some botanicals, eg juniper, require a number of sackloads.
Where quantities smaller than a sackload are required, a small shovel is used.
There is an underground spring beneath the distillery, which provides a source of soft, pure water.

She brought good luck and prosperity to those who believed in her powers by guarding their fields.
Ron Fortuna is a manifestation of the Goddess' powers.
She spread her wealth onto the fields in which the sugarcane grew to create this magnificent rum

Age is a mere aspect of importance for the selection of the rum. Ron Fortuna is created by cherry picking the cask that master blender belive have achieved perfection. This is an on going process of analyzing the rum that have reached maturity but only picking the exceptional ones to be part of this blend.

SEA WYNDE RUM

For centuries, the finest rums, like whiskeys, were made in pot stills. Traditionally, pot still rums from several different origins were married together to produce the most coveted rums, rich and complex with flavor. This costly and time-consuming method of distillation has now all but vanished. Today, most rum brands are the product of a column still or a combination of column still and pot still rums. Furthermore, most rum brands are the product of a single country.
Sea Wynde is a rum unlike any other. Not only is it made using the traditional pot still technique, but it also marries rums from Jamaica and Guyana, creating a rich flavor that could never be reproduced by column stills used today, and also proves that two are better than one. In fact, Sea Wynde is the only rum in the world, to our knowledge, to combine pure pot still rums from these two countries. The individual rums are aged in small oak casks, some in the Carribbean and some in the UK. Once all the individual casks are selected, the rums are vatted together prior to bottling.
Sea Wynde is bottled in small batches and, like a vintage wine, the flavor of each bottling will vary. It is a rum of honeyed richness and subtle complexity which places it in a class of its own, and demonstrates the benefits of sticking with tradition. Sea Wynde Pot Still Rum allows you to experience the invigorating taste of the Caribbean and South America any time of year.

PUNT E MES

The story of Punt e Mes goes that back in 1870 a stock broker, caught up in a debate with a few colleagues at Bottega Carpano, ordered a vermouth laced with half a dose of quina liqueur using a Piedmont dialect expression: "Punt e Mes" (roughly translatable as "one and a half").
The bizzarre origin of this new name came into common usage not long after, with “regulars” of the wine shop ordering Punt e Mes with a gesture, whereby they would only need to raise their thumb to mean one Point and trace a straight line upwards in mid-air  to mean a Half point for the barman to understand straight away that they wanted a Punt e Mes. It was a favourite drink of the founder of FIAT, Giovanni Agnelli,  as he recalled in his memoirs of 1916
Punt e Mes has a golden orange color with topaz tones, herby aromas and dark red, black dahlia with vermilion shades. The initial taste is one of sweetness, characterised by an intriguing accent of orange. This is followed by the characteristically bitter taste of the quina and ends on a sweet note.
