BOOKER'S BOURBON

In 1992, Booker Noe introduced his own signature bourbon, Booker's® True Barrel Bourbon. Inspired by a 200-year-old tradition, Booker's is the first bourbon bottled straight-from-the-barrel, uncut and unfiltered. First created as a holiday gift for his special friends, Booker's whiskey was so well-received that he decided to make it available to bourbon lovers worldwide; much to the joy of spirit connoisseurs everywhere.

Unlike anything you have ever tasted, Booker's is one of the only uncut, unfiltered, straight-from-the-barrel, bourbons available today. It's bottled at its natural proof of between 121 and 127, and aged between six and eight years. Booker's Bourbon delivers a range of intense flavors from oak tannin and smoky vanilla to lighter tones of mocha and coffee. Add spring water to customize the taste and finish to your palate. The complexity provided by this straight-from-the-barrel bourbon makes Booker's the rarest, absolute best bourbon you'll ever taste.

KNOB CREEK 9YO KENTYCKY BOURBON

Knob Creek bourbon was created in the style of turn of the century bourbon. Knob Creek embodies the bold flavor that has made Kentucky famous for bourbon. Aged the longest of the Small Batch Bourbons – 9 years – in charred American white oak, it strikes the senses with a maple sugar aroma, distinctive sweetness and rich, full-bodied flavor.

Knob Creek Bourbon was named after a little creek that runs just south of the distillery, the same creek that ran by Abraham Lincoln's childhood home. Booker Noe, 6th generation Beam and master distiller emeritus created Knob Creek to reflect the strength, flavor, care, and patience that defined pre-prohibition bourbon. The bottle embodies the handmade look and feel of the turn-of-the century bourbon as well. It is reminiscent of a bootlegger's flask with newspaper scrawled on the label, harkening back to the decade's old custom of wrapping bottles in newspaper at the distillery.

BASIL HAYDEN'S 8YO BOURBON

Basil Hayden's is unequalled in that it utilizes twice as much rye in it as the other bourbons in the Collection. Enriched by a hint of peppermint, it impresses with notes of pepper balanced by slight citrus overtones, and a spicy, warming finish. Aged eight years at a relatively mild 80 proof, Basil Hayden's has a broad appeal and is equally enjoyable alone or in cocktails such as a Juicy Basil and Basil Bubbly.

The eponymous Basil Hayden's® Bourbon dates back to 1796, when Master Distiller Basil Hayden Sr. created a recipe unlike any other. He used a traditional corn base, but mixed in small grains in his mash to capture the spicy flavor of rye and complement the sweet smoothness of corn. More than 200 years later, Basil Hayden's is a singular bourbon that bridges the flavor of rye whiskies and small batch bourbons together.

BALCONES BABY BLUE CORN AMERICAN WHISKY

The First legal Texas whisky since Prohibition,.
Balcones Baby Blue is made from 100% roasted Hopi blue corn.
Americans have innovated the use of corn in whisky since we first set foot on this continent. Baby Blue is not white lighting nor bourbon. It has the freshness and verve of a traditional corn whisky but with a refined complexity added by brief aging in small oak barrels. It has a round nuttiness and roasty overtones with a smooth finish. By legal definitions it could be labeled as a bourbon, but it is not essentially a bourbon in character. Bourbon is largely dominated by the flavors of the wood in the barrel; the new charred oak barrels give bourbon is defining and recognizable flavors, color and aroma. The brief aging in oak certainly contributes some of the recognizable oak notes and characteristic of bourbon, but these flavors do not dominate the rich corn flavors that have taken so much trouble to impart to the spirit. In any case, bourbon drinkers, as well as other whisky drinkers, will find plenty here to like.

JACK DANIEL'S SINGLE BARREL SILVER SELECT WHISKEY

Jack Daniel's Silver Select Single Barrel Tennessee Whiskey returns to the simplest days of the distiller's art when whiskey was crafted and sold by the barrel, each with its own individual taste.
Each barrel of this select whiskey is aged in a unique location within the warehouse where the whiskey's colour and taste mature in extra measure.
Because Silver Select is a single barrel whiskey, bottles drawn from individual barrels offer subtle differences in nose, colour and taste.
To mark its distinctive character, each bottle is hand-labelled with it's rick and barrel number and it's individual bottling date.
It is a single barrel with a singular taste that could only be crafted by the Jack Daniel Distillery.

BULLEIT BOURBON

Bulleit Bourbon is distilled and aged in small batches and stored in a single-story warehouse which reduces inconsistencies in the maturation process. Bulleit Bourbon is aged in American White Oak barrels that are flame charred, giving the bourbon some of its colour and flavour. It is aged not a drop less than 6 years, creating maturity and smoothness. The final, 90 proof product is formulated by mingling, not blending, two and sometimes three of the distillates to ensure consistency in the nose and taste.

Bulleit Bourbon uses only the highest quality ingredients and follows the 175-year-old recipe of Augustus. Bulleit Bourbon is produced with a high rye content and proprietary grains and yeasts. Rare among bourbon producers, Bulleit Bourbon has its own Grain Division, which acquires distiller's grade grains grown to Bulleit's specification. The high level of rye content creates the dry, clean flavour. In true bourbon fashion, only limestone-filtered water is used

STRANAHAN'S COLORADO WHISKEY

Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey is a 94 proof, small-batch whiskey distilled in Denver, Colorado. Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey is the first microdistillery making whiskey in Colorado and the Rocky Mountains as well as one of the first in the country. Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey is the first of a new category known as "Rocky Mountain Straight Whiskey".[citation needed]

The whiskey is made from a unique four-barley fermented wash that consists of carbon filtered Rocky Mountain water and western barley that is grown in the Northern Rockies. The wash is distilled in a Vendome Copper custom-made combination Pot / Column still and then aged in 50 gallon heavily charred (#4 char), American white oak whiskey barrels made by World Cooperage in Lebeanon, Missouri. The barrels age for between two and five years in a humidified, climate controlled environment. Ten to twelve barrels are combined to make each batch consisting of 2500-3000 bottles. Each bottle is filled by hand and each label is hand written identifying the distiller, batch number, the youngest barrel in the batch and a unique comment.

Stranahan's is named after former minority owner, educator and activist George Stranahan, who also owns the Flying Dog Brewery formerly of Denver, currently located in Maryland. Jess Graber, retired firefighter, was the majority partner and founder of the company. Since the sale to Proximo, he will "continue working with the company to maintain quality control and as brand ambassador". Head distiller and production manager Jake Norris was also a part owner and co-founder of the company.

Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey won the Gold medal in the malt whiskey division of the 2008 American Distillers Institute in Louisville, Kentucky as well as the over all Best of Show. Other awards include Westword's Best of Denver 2008 and 2009, The Malt Advocate Magazines Pioneer of the year 2008, and Jim Murray's 2008 Whiskey Bible named SCW The Best Small Batch Distilled Whiskey in the World.

Stranahan's is no longer independently owned, as it was sold to Proximo Beverage Corporation. Details on the sale and what the structure of the brand will look like have yet to be released.
